The Truffle Kerfuffle

With such a resounding response to last years Truffle Kerfuffle we have extended the TK to be a weekend culinary and sensory journey. We didn’t think it was fair to limit such an amazing festival to one day, and so we are now holding the Truffle Kerfuffle over two and a half massive days, jam packed with the ultimate in food and wine taste sensations and local creations. And yes, the jam is local.

To begin your journey, a Friday evening ‘Hunt and Harvest’  gala dinner, a five course, wine matched menu is the aperitif to your weekend with transfers available from your accommodation, where you can indulge in the local produce prepared by some of the best chefs in the business, highlighted by the great Manjimup Black Truffle.

Waking late on the Saturday,  you can join us on a truffle hunt, a master class, wonder around the busy, bustling farmers market or take part in one of the Farmers Kitchen experiences……  from learning about truffles and their origins to hearing from our favorite author/journo Louise Fitzroy with her from Paddock to Plate or just relaxing with a glass of wine in hand taking in the beautiful surrounds.

Saturday evening jet sets us as again to another ‘Hunt and Harvest’ gala dinner, both are nearly pre-booked, as the dinners are a highlight of the weekend.

Sunday takes us to another glorious day of truffle hunting, farmers markets, demonstrations and other fabulous foodie experiences.
