Be inspired by the next generation with Amy Hamilton in the festival's most intimate food, wine and masterclass experience. Hosted by Australian Gourmet Traveller's Max Veenhuyzen, the Chef's Cabin Series is a unique chance to gather around the kitchen bench with world class culinary talent.
Training under renowned chef Russell Blaikie, Amy has garnered a reputation as a new generation of chef with her restaurant Liberté putting Albany on the culinary map. It has been awarded a Chefs Hat in the Good Food Guide for two years running and her food is known for its bold flavours melding gastronomic worlds of French and Vietnamese cuisines.
The conversation will flow along with great wine as Amy prepares a trio of dishes showcasing local produce and Manjimup black truffles and utilising techniques you can replicate at home. Be inspired by her world of experience, fresh black truffles, wine and local produce. Taste ingredients along the way, learn about Southern Forests wine and produce, chat to Max and Amy and enjoy a tasting portion of each dish.
