Be inspired by the delightful TV cook, avid baker and artist Poh in the festival's most intimate food, wine and masterclass experience. Hosted by Australian Gourmet Traveller's, Max Veenhuyzen, the Chef's Cabin Series is a unique chance to gather around the kitchen bench with world class culinary talent.
Poh is best known for her television work which catapulted after finishing runner up in the first season of MasterChef Australia in 2009. Since then Poh has had her own show on two different networks, Poh's Kitchen (ABC) which ran for three consecutive seasons and Poh & Co (SBS), a fly on the wall look into her hectic life as a cook, an artist, and small business owner. Poh has published three cookbooks and continues to work as a visual artist.
Using fresh Southern Forest Produce and freshly unearthed Manjimup Truffles, Poh will create a fun and informative masterclass with recipes that you can recreate at home. Enjoy a tasting portion of each dish over flowing conversation with Max and Poh with the added heady aroma of fresh black truffles in this unique experience.
