Be inspired by Bread in Common’s executive chef – the former Scott Brannigan and the current, Chris Eales. This is the festival's most intimate food, wine and masterclass experience. Hosted by Australian Gourmet Traveller’s Max Veenhuyzen, the Chef's Cabin Series is a unique chance to gather around the kitchen bench with world class culinary talent.
As Scott prepares to open the Coogee Hotel, Chris has stepped up at Bread in Common, a place that has a reputation as one of Perth’s best with an emphasis being on a seasonal farm to table menu designed to be shared and enjoyed with the onsite freshly baked bread. Scott and Chris will prepare two courses each.
Gather fireside around his kitchen bench, wine glass in hand as Scott and Chris prepare a trio of dishes showcasing local produce and truffle and utilising techniques you can replicate at home. Be inspired by their world of experience, fresh black truffles, wine and local produce. Taste ingredients along the way, learn about Southern Forests wine and produce, chat to Max, Scott and Chris and enjoy a tasting portion of each dish.
