Gavin and Mel Booth are renowned truffle growers, traders, dog trainers and handlers, having been in the industry for over a decade. Join them for a truffle hunt, meet their highly trained dogs and learn about all aspects of truffles. As the owner-operators of Australian Truffle Traders they see that some of the world's best chefs have fresh Manjimup black truffle within 48 hours of being unearthed.

SATURDAY + SUNDAY HUNTS:2 HOURS (SHUTTLE BUS TO/FROM FESTIVAL VILLAGE) PLEASE BE 5 MINUTES EARLY OR YOU MAY MISS YOUR HUNT
Please be five minutes early as the bus / HUNT will leave exactly on time.
LOCATION: TRUFFLE ORCHARD / FONTY'S POOL. Friday hunts do not include shuttle transfers. You will be sent the address closer to the event. Saturday and Sunday hunts depart from Fonty's Pool via shuttle bus.
ALL AGES No strollers or prams due to the delicate nature of truffles just beneath the soil. Children must always be accompanied by a parent or guardian. As we have limited capacity on each hunt and shuttle bus, tickets are a standard price.
DOES THIS EVENT INCLUDE Festival Village ENTRY? No. Truffle HUNTS LEAVE FROM THE FESTIVAL VILLAGE ENTRY.
DRESS CODE: Please wear weather appropriate clothing and enclosed footwear suitable for a farm visit.
FESTIVAL VILLAGE TICKET REQUIRED TO ATTEND THIS EVENT? No but we encourage you to visit the Festival Village as it's lots of fun! If you are not visiting the village we will pick you up from the entry gate on Saturday or Sunday. On Friday, there is no shuttle bus so please make your own way there.
WEATHER: The event is an all weather event on a working rural property. Please be prepared for all instances of weather.
DOGS: No guests may bring dogs or other animals on the hunt.
ACCESSIBILITY: We regret that we are unable to make wheelchair access available on truffle orchards due to the delicate nature of the truffles just beneath the surface. Additional information.
