By purchasing a ticket or entering the festival grounds, festival patrons accept and agree to the following terms and conditions.

Truffle Kerfuffle reserves the right to alter these terms and conditions at any time. The terms will be displayed at trufflekerfuffle.com.au

SAFETY AND RISK

  • Entry to festival sites is at your own risk. The Truffle Kerfuffle Inc, and its venue and event partners will not be liable for any injury, loss, or damage you may suffer.
  • By entering the festival site, you acknowledge that you are entering an area with an unfenced body of water.
  • It is the responsibility of patrons to monitor, supervise and control all minors or adults under their guardianship for the duration of their time on the event grounds.
  • Swimming is not permitted.
  • Appropriate footwear and clothing must be worn at all times at the Event(s). We advise patrons to bring warm, weatherproof clothes.
  • In the case of an emergency, you must follow all official directives of the organisers or authorised personnel.
  • This event will be run in accordance with applicable Government directions, orders, regulations, or guidance for public Health & Safety in place at the time of the event, which are fluid and may change. Unless required by applicable law, refunds will not be required as a result of following the conditions of or changes to any applicable Government directions, orders, regulations or guidance for public Health & Safety (including COVID-19).
  • It is the responsibility of the ticket holder to advise any dietary requirements or allergies at the time of booking. The festival will endeavour to cater to all requirements however cannot guarantee that this will be possible in all instances. It is up to the patron to ensure that any food or drink is appropriate for them to consume.
  • It is the responsibility of the ticket holder to advise any special access requirements at the time of booking. The festival will endeavour to meet requirements however cannot guarantee that this will be possible in all instances.
  • Please be aware that smoke, pyrotechnics, lasers, and strobe lighting may be in use.
  • We play rain or shine. If it looks like rain, please bring wet weather protection (ponchos & raincoats). Umbrellas are not permitted into the venue. The Event will follow direction from DFES regarding event cancellation should weather conditions become dangerous.
  • Truffle Kerfuffle is a smoke free event.

PROHIBITED ITEMS

Prohibited items will be confiscated. These items may be disposed of.

  • Alcohol or Food (must be purchased and consumed in licensed areas)
  • Cans/glass
  • Chairs of any sort
  • Whistles/horns/drums
  • Professional cameras, audio recording equipment or video cameras
  • Large or hard eskies, baskets, or boxes
  • Umbrellas or shade structures
  • Flags/banners/items
  • Items that in the opinion of the Event and Venue could cause harm or public nuisance.

ADMISSION, ENTRY & TICKETS

  • Admission to the festival and its associated events is only permitted with a valid ticket.
  • Admission to the festival grounds and its associated venues is by invitation. Festival or venue management have the right to refusal of entry on reasonable grounds.
  • All adults and children entering the festival and associated venues must hold a ticket and display wristbands and lanyards provided.
  • Tickets are exchanged for a wristband once on site. Wristbands that are removed from wrists or tampered with will be rendered invalid and will not be replaced. Anyone found on site without a valid wristband will be deemed to have trespassed and will be escorted off site.
  • Patrons may be requested to submit their bags and other items for security searching. Refusal to do so is the patrons right, but the management reserve the right to exclude entry on this basis.
  • Persons under 18 years of age will only be permitted into the festival sites and events when holding a valid ticket and when accompanied by a parent or a legal guardian. Please note: Some festival events have a strict 18+ policy
  • Animals (unless by prior arrangement) are not allowed on festival sites, due to the nature of the festival, biosecurity concerns and to protect the health of working truffle dogs.
  • A Festival Village ticket is required to gain access to any experiences taking place within or departing from the Festival Village Bus Stop. Entry may be refused if you do not have a valid ticket.
  • Patrons are prohibited from bringing food, drinks, or picnics into the Festival Village.
  • Tickets are subject to availability. The Promoter reserves the right to release availability without notice.
  • Strictly no refunds or exchanges, except in accordance with Live Performance Australia’s Ticketing Code of Practice and consumer law. Refunds will be at the discretion of the event promoter.
  • If you are evicted from the event or refused entry, your ticket will be cancelled, and you will not be entitled to a re-entry or refund.
  • Tickets may not be offered for resale through third party websites (such as Viagogo).
  • Tickets may not be resold or offered for resale at a premium.
  • Tickets may not be used for advertising, promotion, or other commercial purposes without approval from the Promoter.
  • If a ticket is in breach of these conditions, it may be cancelled without refund and the bearer of the ticket may be refused admission.
  • Unauthorised sale or ticket duplication will result in refusal of entry to the event. If duplicate tickets present at entry, the Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry to all ticket holders (including original account holder).

CONDUCT

  • You must remain within marked areas.
  • You must follow all reasonable directions of the Event and Venue staff.
  • The Truffle Kerfuffle Inc is committed to the responsible service of alcohol. Patrons are asked to drink responsibly, nominate a skipper (or take a shuttle), and follow instructions by event staff. Failure to do so could result in removal from site.
  • As part of the Truffle Kerfuffle liquor licensing, patrons are strictly prohibited from bringing alcohol onto the event site or into an event (unless expressly permitted in event terms).
  • Only alcohol purchased onsite in the official festival bars and restaurants may be consumed on site with the exception of tasting portions provided by traders or alcohol served as part of an event.
  • Purchasing alcohol for a minor is illegal. Underage drinkers, excessive drinkers, illegal drug users or patrons displaying antisocial behaviour may be ejected from the Event or be dealt with by police.
  • Festival goers must not cause damage to, improperly use or tamper with any public facility or festival infrastructure, or cause any damage to flora and fauna on or surrounding the venue or enter any onsite bodies of water. Nor must they remove or attempt to remove any item or object from the venue or surrounding area.
  • Any intimidating or dangerous activities will not be tolerated and will result in ejection from the event, without the right to re-entry. This includes posturing or “surrounding” patrons, aggressive moshing, stage diving, crowd surfing or climbing. The Event accepts no liability for any injuries or damages caused by these activities.
  • The Event and the Venue will not take responsibility or liability for any personal property lost or damaged at the event. There will be no cloaking facility available. Any lost property items handed in to event staff will be returned to the local Shire as soon as practicable.

EMERGENCY AND EVACUATION

  • In the event of an emergency evacuation or situation, you must follow all official directives. Event Management will defer to Emergency Services and assist as required in the case of an emergency.

CHANGES, REFUNDS, CANCELLATION AND ABANDONMENT

  • All ticket sales are final. No refunds, cancellations or exchanges will be issued.
  • Truffle Kerfuffle reserves the right to vary talent, dates, or venues, and the advertised program, should circumstances arise to require us to do so. The event, its venue and event partners will not be liable for any expenses, compensation, costs, loss, or damage, whether direct or consequential, that may be incurred as a result.
  • Truffle Kerfuffle is an indoor and outdoor event. We shall proceed come “rain or shine”. No refunds are given.
  • In the event of a cancellation or abandonment of the event The Truffle Kerfuffle Inc, its venue and event partners will not be liable for any expenses, compensation, costs, loss, or damage, whether direct or consequential, that may be incurred as a result of cancelled accommodation, transfers, hire charges or by any other circumstances or matters.

MEDIA AND PHOTOGRAPHY

  • Non-commercial media recording or photography is permitted on the festival grounds, unless specifically prohibited (by a rights holder).
  • No professional cameras (such as an SLR), professional video camera (including go pro’s), sound recording devices or lighting equipment are permitted in the event.
  • Use of drones is prohibited, unless authorised by Festival Directors or Operations Manager.
  • Commercial drones in use by the media must have their drones registered, and all commercial drone users should have safety management systems in place and provided to management of the Event or Venue on request.
  • Any complaints regarding unsafe drone use should be made directly to the Civil Aviation Safety Authority – www.casa.gov.au
  • Commercial media recording and photography is prohibited unless by prior arrangement. Contact media@trufflekerfuffle.com.au
  • By entering a Truffle Kerfuffle event or site patrons’ consent that The Truffle Kerfuffle Inc and third parties authorised by it may make or record film, photographs or other forms of moving picture, still picture or any of them of the event (including, without limitation, of patrons) for the use of media and promotions across all platforms including but not limited to web and broadcast.

TRUFFLE KERFUFFLE SATELLITE EVENTS AND ACCOMMODATION SALES

  • Truffle Kerfuffle may at times act as a sales agent for satellite event organisers, accommodation providers or other businesses and ‘service providers’. In such instances Truffle Kerfuffle is operating a system for ticketing only. Any and all issues or claims relating to the sale and / or purchase of tickets and the provision of associated events(s) are the sole responsibility of the satellite event organiser and service provider, and as such Truffle Kerfuffle (or any subsidiaries, officers, affiliates, venues, stakeholders, officers, agents, directors or employees) have no liability for any claims. Truffle Kerfuffle is not liable for any losses resulting from the purchase of such tickets. Truffle Kerfuffle cannot refund or exchange or refund such tickets not associated fees unless specifically stated. Truffle Kerfuffle has no obligation to provide a refund or any other financial compensation if an event is cancelled, postponed, or substantially altered by the Satellite Event Organiser or Service Provider in which case you should contact the Satellite Event Organiser or Service Provider directly unless directed to do otherwise.

ACCOMMODATION PACKAGES

  • Purchasing accommodation packages constitutes your acceptance of the Fonty’s Pool accommodation polices.
  • Payment must be made in full.
  • Specific sites/cabins/chalets cannot be reserved for Truffle Kerfuffle. Management will allocate accordingly.
  • Bond is required and payable on arrival.
  • Charges will apply for excessive cleaning, damage, or replacement of missing items.
  • Park Management reserves the right to reallocate or cancel any bookings.
  • Park Management reserves the right to refuse entry into Fonty’s Pool. A full refund will be issued under these circumstances.
  • Persons under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
  • No cancellations, exchanges or refunds available on Truffle Kerfuffle accommodation packages. Unless required by law or whole event cancellation.
  • No Pets are permitted during the Truffle Kerfuffle weekend.
  • Fires only permitted during burning season and in the limited fire pots provided free of charge.
  • No bushwood is to be burned. Firewood is available for purchase.

 

TICKETING PROVIDER TERMS AND CONDITIONS: MOSHTIX

  • Purchasing tickets constitutes your acceptance of the Moshtix Terms & Conditions.
  • A transaction fee of $3.95 applies per booking.
  • Valid Concession Cards must be presented on entry.
  • Please contact hello@trufflekerfuffle.com.au prior to purchase if you have a valid Companion Card to gain access to the Companion Card Scheme offer. Companion Cards are applicable on Festival Village Passes only. Details of use are contained on the Companion Card website companioncard.org.au.
