You will identify flavour profiles of whisky and taste four of our whiskies, exploring your palate with a whisky expert!

Founder and Master Distiller Cameron Syme has dedicated 32 years of research and experimentation into creating beautiful gin expressions that incorporate unique botanicals only found in this corner of the world. Based in Margaret River, a biodiversity hotspot in the South West of Western Australia, Giniversity is the flagship spirit of Margaret River Distilling Company.
Join the Giniversity tutors for a fun and interactive tasting masterclass. You will run through the history of their award-winning gin (the first one was released in 2005!) and how their expressions are made. You will enjoy four of our gins, first neat, then with tonic, before adding a complementary garnish as the final taste experience. By the end of the class you will have learned how to take your G&T's to the next level, as a Giniversity Graduate!

The Leeuwin Coast Akoya are a beautiful, natural shellfish that grow native to Western Australia. Described as the lovechild of a mussel and an oyster, and encased in a delicate mother of pearl shell, this spectacular shellfish is traditionally famous for producing spectacular saltwater pearls. Our bespoke and sustainable aquaculture techniques in combination with the uniquely pure WA environment have turned the Akoya into a delicacy in its own right.

Kirsty Marchant, Ex Head Gardener at two-Michelin-star and award-winning restaurant, Noma presents a masterclass in the new Perennial movement. Kirsty will share how she came to have her hands in the soil and introduce you to the world of Perennials. She will take you through her learnings from Dutch Master Landscape & Planting Designer Piet Oudolf and why having your soil filled with plants all year round will benefit you as well as the environment.
As an added bonus, Kirsty will share how to make seaweed tea, the benefits and how to administer it.
